When buying auto insurance, keep in mind these things:
Purchase the amount of liability coverage which makes sense for you. Liability covers your financial responsibility for injuring others.
Decide which optional coverages you want. Do you want the optional physical damage coverages in Part D or is the market value of your car too low to warrant purchasing them? What about ancillary medical or car rental coverage?
Decide who you would like to purchase the insurance from. Don’t just focus on the price of your premium. Low cost may help your wallet right now, but in the long run, you will end up paying more out of pocket if you have an accident.
