Winter accident advice

Winter weather can turn roads into icy slabs of destruction. So what do you do when you are in a non-injury accident but the police are responding to injury-only crashes?

If another vehicle is involved in the accident and no one is hurt, exchange information with the other parties and then file an accident report with local law enforcement after the weather has cleared. Some local law enforcement agencies will require you to complete forms in person while others offer online filing services. Your insurance company will ask whether you filed an accident report when you call to report the claim.
